I know (I'm not sure whether from reading it or from hearing you in an interview) that you don't like Dickens, but the comparison is inescapable. Tarbean is a dark twist on Dickens' London! (Thats meant to be a compliment. I love Dickens :-P). Thank you for writing your book. It was magnificent!

Ooooh, that was very well written! For those of us aspiring writers it was nice to have it picked apart and analyzed.</></>Thanks for passing along the link.

Its a good review, but I had to stop reading it before it revealed too much. I am only 100 or so pages into the book currently...and the review started telling me things I didn't know yet, good reveiw though...</></>AWESOME book, this is the first book in a good while that has had me from page 1 and only (just barely) the needs to sleep and go to work can make me put it down.</></>Great Stuff! Right Up there with Early Shannara, The Gunslinger, and Deathsgate Cycle...which trust me is HIGH praise for me to say!

More like a book report than a book review.</>David Copperfield of fantasy</>Hahaha What?</>I don't see it but she did defy anyone to ague against it.</></>P.S.Bring on the stick figures David Copperfield, I mean Pat.

Totally agree with the review. I have read lots of great, classic fantasy in my life but in all honesty this seriously is one of the best books in the genre I've ever read. Can't wait for two and three! </></>PS: Is it true that they'll be coming out one a year?

Hmm...I'd say don't comment there - the reviewer will probably see this and that's enough. It's a slippery slope for authors who respond to reviews. *of course I always enjoy it if I write a review and the author comes along and comments, so my opinion might only be worth a few grunts*
