Good interview! Did they get frustrated that you have a habit of deftly sidestepping the questions? Looking over it, you cleverly avoided answering the majority of the questions put! And in a way that was insightful and fun to read. Jordan

Pat, I liked your diplomatic answer to the Denna question. You make a good point because it keeps the mystery around your characters. I think maybe half our characters are based on people we know and the other half are people we wished we knew.Great interview.Bekah

I always love reading your interviews. You never fail to be entertaining.I hate that “when are you going to get married” question, too. I’ve been with my partner for ten years. I have zero interest in weddings. Yes, a woman with absolutely no interest in weddings whatsoever! I’d rather use the money for things like books and trips to conventions!

You don’t need to play an instrument to filk. If you make it to Dragon*Con, try to hit the open filk at least one night. It’s a group of great people sitting around singing &/or playing fandom-related &/or traditional music. It’s a great time & I’d love to have another Browncoat there. ;)

Paperback out in April? That's funny, I bought my paperback copy yesterday. (I usually buy a paperback so I don't mess up my hardcovers with rereadings) Did the date get moved up?I'm looking forward to the rest of the interview, now.

What a great interview; it was both fun to read and informative, which is really what you want when you read an interview with a “famous” person. One of my favorite things about your writing is that it is very precise, as you mentioned in your interview. I hate sloppy writing.
