If anyone still cares, I know the meaning of the "actual size" sticker that someone stuck on the book: it's a homage to ultra-geek webcomic xkcd.com.

Ahh ... such wonderful pictures. I was tempted to drag out my model Dalek and have my copy of the book stand stoically, sonic screwdriver in hand(or sitting on the ground nearby, which is close enough ...), but I'm afraid that making a pinstriped suit and trenchcoat for a book is every bit as tricky as it sounds, and anyway that couldn't compete with these wonderful things ... anyway. Yeah. Cool pictures.

The only thing that could have topped that science picture would be the same picture, but with a bunsen burner with the gas set to high.</></>Which makes it burn with a blue flame, for the non sciencey amongst us.

I like the picture of the sun-backed book because the shadow cast makes the book look about 9ft tall.... it's like the monolith in 2001... only without the tool-using apes running around.

I really liked the I SPY picture too. It was nifty.</></>And I'd play on that tree all the time if I had one like it.
