Pat, I have not been here for a long time and came to check on info about book 2. I see that you mentioned comments have been turned off so I am just experimenting to see if you get this. I was so intrigued with some of the stuff you were talking about in your blog writing that I went back and started to read all of them from the beginning. I am up to Sept 2007. I just read about your Mom and my heart cried for you..my Mom passed away on June 4th 2009. I miss her dearly. She promised me that she would come back to me and let me know what heaven is like. I am still waiting to see her. I keep seeing angels in cloud formations and think that may be a sign. The dog is farting up a storm as I type this. So if I mistype is it because my eyes are watering. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I love your first book, can’t wait for the second (I look everytime I go to Barnes and Noble) and I am truely enjoying reading about your trials and tribulations. I have not been so entertained for a long while. I especially enjoyed the cartoons about the emails people send regarding the release of the second book. Well.. I didn’t understand what Dr. Horrible was. I told my brother that Pat had written a cartoon-like movie that was named Dr. Who or something. Then when I came back here to see if anyone had an idea about Pat’s second book, I started looking into what Dr. Horrible was and of course it is July 23 now and I can’t see any of the movie anymore because they say it would disappear after July 20. Damn. What are the odds. It looked so good too.

People in MN and WI are pretty nice and wouldn’t ever think of stepping on toes by butting into private lives without an invitation. I would love to go to a signing tho and have my book signed and meet Pat that way. My brother who I mentioned goes to a river property by Silversmith somewhere. I would be upset if he met him first and I was the one who suggested he read the book. I am confused about most of the stuff written on this blog probably because I know nothing about blogs. Can someone tell me where I can find info about when the next book might come out? I will have to read the first one again, naturally, before starting the second adventure. And I liked Eragon and Eldest. Tolkein..well I barely got thru reading the Hobbit but loved the movies.

Thank you for posting about Dr. Horrible’s sing-along blog. My husband and I are huge Firefly fans so it was great to see Nathan Fillian. When I saw the first episode I sent messages to all my friends, family and to my husbands work place to spread the news. I was probably the cause of a lot of server lag.

Y'know, I was all getting ready to post up a big "I'm so proud of y'all for keeping the comments spoiler-free" sort of comment. But no, someone has to come in and ruin it. Here's a hint, when your comment includes the words, "is that a spoiler?" that means it's a spoiler. Also, if your comment talks about the ending of the final episode, it's a spoiler. I just got to thinking, and realized that it’s easy to <> say <> something like “undying appreciation”, but really, what does that get a person? Pat, if you’re ever in the Bellingham, WA area, I would so treat you to a round of mini-golf at Castle Fun Park. I’ll even let you choose between the Jungle and Undersea course. :)
