Okay, for the last one, the tree that sprang to mind right away was a weeping willow. I think they way her hair is always described as kind of like a floating halo, I thought of the sweeping branches of the willow. Which is ironic, because Kvothe’s flower is a willow blossom. Hmm…is there some sort of foreshadowing of book two in this? I hope so, I am dying of terminal curiosity about Auri!

@jonI thought that after i was done writing my justification. I wanted initially to say she was a silver maple that put out roots on top of hard soil, vulnerable yet resilient, only tenuously connected to the ground, then i read about walking trees and I thought "man, those are cool!" so put that in.I guess i should stick to my first... oooh! This is more directed at Ron.Your comment on Auri being a walking tree would much better describe Denna than Auri.
