hi my name is derek and i am a 12 years old boy i lived in veracruz mexico i am interested in literature i write poems novels and short storys i love the book of the name of the wind it is my favorite book and i would like to know when does the wise man fear book eould be abble to bought here in mexico in spanis cause i have read the first book two times and i still thinking is great i cant wait any longer for the second part because i am inside the book .

Brandon Sanderson added to the Amazon wish list. I bought a new bookcase at the weekend and the first book to be placed on it was……Tad Williams. Memory, sorrow and thorn.Sorry Pat. I couldn’t get the glass case in the shrine opened to put TNOTW in the book case. ;-)

Am reading yr book now — I like it, but I doubt either Kvothe or Chronicler would commit so many solecisms to the page — “two minute’s worth” rather than “two minutes’ worth”; “one of those people who knows” rather than “one of people who know”; & several more errors of punctuation & subject/verb agreement. I hope you’re assigned a better copy editor next time if you can’t find time to bone up with a style manual.

I was flipping through a magazine and saw a really neat mention of the book. In the november 08 issue of playstation magazine, The Name of the Wind made their top 10 list!

Crazy. I like Sanderson’s and your work. I’m eagerly waiting The “Hero of Ages” and “The Wise Man’s Fear”. Reading Elom in the time between. Need to find another book to help me wait. Any suggestions?

An interesting bunch of people… Not to mention the information they passed along… Obviously, they don’t consider you an amateur, even though this is your first published novel. :-) (Those years of polishing really do pay off…)BTW, I could have sworn he almost asked you for any <>farting<> comments at the end…
