This never happened to me in the German book, eventhough it's no bad translation. In fact, some of the songs have a great translation and I'm totaly aware of how hard it must be to translate a whole book. I was very pleased with it. Alot of the authors I have been reading lately don't have much "heft" to their stories, at least in my opinion. This book just plain sucked me in. I was making excuses to get off work so I could go home and finish reading it. I have not found it in hardcover in the bookstores yet. I may have to break down and order one.
