I'm also someone who found your book from GRRM's link to your comic strip. I'm not finished with it I have about 15% to go (darn Kindle and their locations)and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!</></>I'm not thrilled that your and GRRM's fans have been such ass-hats to you both.</></>I'd not heard of your book before they started harassing GRRM about ADWD and he linked to your site. </></>I'm really glad he did I was looking for a new book to read at the time. :D </></>I look forward to enjoying book two when it comes out :)

I'm disappointed about the delayed publication of 'The Wise Man's Fear', of course I am - but I know it will be worth the wait!</></>Thanks for letting us know the official position - and I just loved the cartoons :)</></></>Jay/Jan

I'm not going to feed you the same old "take your time, we understand" bullshit, nor am I one of the "dickholes" that would bitch at you.</> This is your baby, not ours. We wait for the pleasure of welcoming your new "child" into this fantastically retarded world.</> I will play it straight with you; I just picked up your novel today! In 11 hours I have read half your book. I have read "The Wheel of Time" series 7 times through(1-11). I've read all of J.R. Tolkien's works. I most recently just finished the "A Song of Fire and Ice" series in two weeks. I've read Philip Pullman's "Dark Materials". But through all of these amazing series', I can't help but be blown away by the magnitude of your creativity and the extreme bounds of the lexicon you provide you character with. Bravo! I will be finished with this novel in two days, but at that point I will be forced to wait.

Well, I'm sure(hope) it's been said a thousand times, but take your time with your work. I just got into your series, fom GRRM's link, and I love your book. I don't write, but I do understand deadlines. But if your book ("your" being the correct word) isn't up to your standings, keep working until you think it's ready. Until then, have fun with all you do!

Sweet mother, your blog is awesome, dude! I can see why your agent might want you to ixnay on the ostingpays in order to ocusfay on the ookbay, but damn, it's a great blog. Thank you for putting the time into the comics and lengthy comments that are just as fun to read as your book.</></>Can't wait for the second book...no, strike that. Can wait! CAN wait! Make it what you want before it gets released into the world. I will appreciate it all the more.</></>Btw, have spent many extended weeks in frigid-ass Chippewa Falls working on a go-live project through the course of two winters and would daily wonder how in the world the pioneers decided to settle there and build communities. I can see them going for it in the beauty of spring/summer, but after that first winter, what sane pre-electricity family would say, "Hey, let's do this every year for the rest of our lives, and make our children do it too!" Your pondering about dryer venting was hysterical AND brilliant! Thanks for the laughs. ;-)

Remember when you gave me and my wife a single hair from your beard? Well, we took it home thinking nothing much of it. Everything was well for the most part of that first week with Hair but then it all changed. I....I really don't know how to tell you this. We need you to take the hair back. Please, oh God of Abraham help us, and take the hair back.
