Photo Contest Part X – The Grand Prize Winner

And here we have it. The end of the contest. The entry so awesome that I cannot even post it on the blog. I dare only reflect its infinite glory with a simple link.

When you get to their page, make sure that you click on the first page first. (It’s the one that says “Chasing the Wind.”) Then click through to follow the storyline. Yes. There’s a storyline.

Wow. I just looked at it again. It made my honest-to-god tingly.

You know what? I’m not even going to talk about it right now. I don’t want to distract you. You should just go, check it out, then come back here and leave a comment that tells them how unspeakably cool they are.

Go. Seriously.

It is awesome- they went to a local library branch too! How lucky am I? That talented crew lives just a couple miles away- I can only hope that the genius will rub off!

I don’t recall this being mentioned on the weblog before, so it seems strange to me that Amazon knows the release date (“April 7, 2009”) for < HREF="http://www.amazon.com/Wise-Mans-Fear-Kingkiller-Chronicle/dp/0756404738/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1213738241&sr=8-2" REL="nofollow">“The Wise Man’s Fear.”<>

Isis, Osiris and Horus that is impressive. So impressive that the religious epithets of modern Western culture don’t even begin to describe the sheer level of awesomeness embodied there.

OH, dear Heavens and Graces and all manner of Holy and Unholy Things! That is, truly, AWESOME. I think I enjoyed that too much. My chest and neck hurt from tilting my head back laughing so hard. I’m too giddy for words. Pat, you are VERY BLESSED to have such AMAZING fans! Wow. Uh, yeah. WOW. I can’t write anything else. It’s 2am and I’m laughing loud enough to wake my nephews and my neighbors…If I could see you right now, I’d pat you on the back or something. I hope you showcase more of the creativity your fans have… Goodness, that’s wowified me silly.

Blue Sun Loss Prevention Manual – *snork*I love Trapis and that little urchin. Larry makes a very good Trapis, and I think my mental picture of the character just changed.“It’s hard to be scary when you can’t see.” Heh.

That is quite possibly more awesome than the universe can contain. I would be careful, now that it has been unleashed the universe will probably collapse into a black hole.

Awesome! Just 1 question…what is the significance of Dec. 7, 1973 at 6:30 pm?

  16. Laura
    Posted June 18, 2008 at 2:08 PM | Permalink

@ jaimo:“December 7, 1973The White House can’t explain an 18 ½-minute gap in one of the subpoenaed tapes. Chief of Staff Alexander Haig says one theory is that ‘some sinister force’ erased the segment.” (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/onpolitics/watergate/chronology.htm)Incidentally, the Watergate tapes were cassettes, not reel-to-reel, but it just looked better to have a reel in the shot. :-)

At first I wondered if your introduction sported a typo worthy of the IJYWYUPG(PII) group, but after “watching” that (cos)play I can say that it made “my honest-to-god tingly” too! What a wonderful way to spend $7.99 and a weekend. Well done! Brava and Bravo!Author, Author! Photographer, Photographer!Seamstress, Seamstress!et cetera, et cetera! So is $7.99 the going rate for the (cos)play rights now?

Clearly the winner if you only consider everything up until the last page, but that last page really pushes it over the edge. I mean, the Maltese Falcon? Spectacular.

Well, this is a horrible post to come late to the party on. The link totally doesn’t work. The post tells us nothing about what was at the other end of the link, except that it was awesome beyond compare. The comments further stand to reinforce that.

But alas, I shall never know what was there.
