I’ll be making an appearance down there tthis Sunday (the 20th) at 2:00. It’s at the Borders in Oakbrook, specifically. (There’s more specific info here on the Tour Page.)
I’ll be doing a reading, then some Q & A, then a signing. If any of that sounds good to you, feel free to show up.

Sounds great! Unfortunately I live in RI. Any plans on coming out our way? I don’t see anything on the Tour Page.>>I enjoyed your appearance on The Dragon Page podcast, went out and bought your book and can’t say enough good things about it. Well done.
Aww… right in the middle of the Cubs/Sox game.>>You’ll have to come down to Chicago again sometime, sir, and we can talk about bad timing.
Hi Pat, I wish you had an interest in visiting the cornfields of Indiana, but I figure that’s not too likely.>>I’ve not read your book yet. Just haven’t had the money to buy it. >>I thought you’d be nerdy enough to appreciate that the money I’m spending on your book came from selling handmade Jayne Cobb hats inspired by Firefly. =P>>Anyway, have fun in Chicago. No corn for you.
Melissa, that is the best way possible to raise money for my book. >>I might hit Gen Con this year. Is that close to you?
/faint>>Yes! It’ll only be about a 20 minute drive from my home. If you attend, will you be a feature or a spectator?>>>Hey, maybe I can bring you a hat. You can probably find the corn on your own…
I don’t guess you’ll be coming to the South anytime soon? I swear we’re not all a bunch of rednecks, and that our twang is really cute in person! Maybe you can work it out…
how likely is it you’ll do a signing/Q & A in NY or NJ ?
Josie, I’m sure your twang is really cute. >>…>>That ended up sounding kinda pervy. I was going to go on to say something about how I’d love to head down south for a visit, but now it doesn’t seem like a very good idea….
…What William said. ;)
If you come to the South, you must come to NC! Short notice but Animazement is coming up soon :P Damn timing as well, as I was in Chicago Last weekend x.x Ah well, there’s always time.
Hey, Pat,>By the time book two goes to press you’ll have a personal invitation to every state in the US. The Counters Of The Beans should be impressed enough to spend lavishly to send you on tour. No pooh-poohing, now. Keep the faith.>Be well,>Wendy in Santa Fe
Wish I could have made it but I was getting married that weekend. I know… priorities. :)
