A Low-Key Gathering

Just a quick heads up. I’m going to be doing some panels for Neil Gaiman’s Low-Key Gathering at House on the Rock this Halloween.

The schedule of events is posted here on the House on the Rock’s website:

And the schedule for Saturday’s panels are on the Low-Key Gathering’s Facebook page.

There are still tickets available, from what I understand.

A good time will be had by all,

pat

Edit: For those of you that have asked – of course I’m dressing up for the costume contest. It’s Halloween. And the winners get to ride on the Carousel. How could I not want a piece of that action?

Hey Pat, since you brought up House on the Rock…

I’ve been meaning to ask, is it possible that I saw you being interviewed there on the Travel Channel? The beard looked suspiciously like yours and I know it’s not too far from you.

Ona side note- I’ve been trying to get hold of Peter S Beagle’s The Last Unicorn and it seems to be out of print. Do you know of anywhere I can get hold of a copy? The guy in Waterstones (UK) told me he thought someone must have bought all the rights because there was a plan for it to come out as a graphic novel or something. Do you know anything about this?

Too cool. You will, of course, take many photos and retell the stories of that night all in a future blog, yes? You planning on costuming while there, Pat? Thinking you could definately pull off a good Odin.

Speaking of going places…(valiant attempt at tying in OT subject to this post)… when will you next make an East Coast (aka New York) appearance? As the father of an 18 month old, I understand how hard it would be to leave home for a trip like that…just curious!

First of all I congratulate you on your first novel (of many I hope) and an apology for not writing anything about the subject but to ask you a question:
“The Name of the Wind” goes on sale in 2007 in USA, Spain in 2009 and in Mexico (where I live) comes out in 2010 and my question is this. If “The wise man’s fear” comes out in March 2011 in USA where Spanish would be ready and for sale in Mexico? congratulations again and hopefully if you have (and can provide) the info and that did not want to wait that long to know more about the history and adventures of Kvothe.
Thanks for transporting us to this new world …

I love how as soon as I move to North Dakota, you start doing all this awesome stuff in places where I could have actually gone last year.
    *sighs*
Therefore, I require LOTS of pictures!

I enjoyed your book Wise Man’s Fear. Sorry if I was a bit longwinded there. I just like to see myself type.
