P.S. I was aiming for the shortest response ever, but couldn’t stop myself from explaining.

As much as I would love that since it’s my birthday month….any year is good Pat, but April is the preferred month. LOL!

Maybe Pat should just start killing characters so people will stop this.
I think that worked pretty good for Martin…..

      I mean…I’m just sayin…

You guys are freakin’ killing the Chancellor right now. :D

The “Interesting Fact” post was shorter. Before the edits, of course.

Rereading this post, it comes across as far more pedantic than it was intended. Sorry about that (-:

Speaking of cool things you do, wouldn’t happen to have the down low on if The Story Board was renewed on G&S?

I saw it was on hiatus but wasnt sure if that meant it would be back since I know they dropped a couple of there other hangouts.

    Anywho…
    Have a nice day.

I really hope you do continue with Storyboard, Pat. I didn’t realize it had been discontinued. Here I was searching for Storyboard 9 every day, hoping it would pop up.

Yah, I was checking every day as well, but you have to go to the actual Geek and Sundry webpage to see that it is on hiatus. Took me about 10 days to figure that out and then I was like…

      NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

But at least I have this interview to watch now, that should cover this month for me.

may be the shortest physically, but it takes up more time than most posts (to watch the whole interview)

I wouldn’t mind a few more short posts… so long as it was in the…

    I’m dead serious BTW….

I love that you have such an appreciation for the use of swear words, and applaud the effort you put out to make them so organic within the story. Damn fine interview, by the by…

This interview puts my mind at ease.

I’m a musician and I work in the film industry. The storyboard hangouts really gave me an insight about dramatic decisions I have to make while composing. I’m really glad you plan on continuing them, plus I’m a geek at heart.

Pat, I forgot about it the last time I saw an interview where you mentioned writing a game in Basic and I neglected to say anything after the Story Board where Infocom games were mentioned, but I’m making up for it by mentioning it now. The newest version of the Inform programming language allows you to craft Interactive Fiction with very little programming knowledge needed. It boasts of “Code that reads like English”. You should take a look and play with it some time.

That was a thoroughly enjoyable two hours. Leo Laporte is a real pro… I always dug his show The Screen Savers on TechTV back in the day. I look forward to your appearance in KC at ConQuest next month.

I agree. I squeed with glee when I saw it was 2 hours long, and though I didn’t know who Leo was before, I liked his Q&A.

I would love to see more really long interviews like this in the future.

I rarely buy physical books these days (as much as I love the physical experience of a printed book, I just don’t have any more space). I’d love to see a high-res ebook version of both of these stories.
